A couple is in for a treat as their wedding dress is being fitted for the reception.
The bride and groom are wearing their wedding dresses for a reception on Saturday.
The dress will be tailored by the designer for the occasion.
“The bride is wearing a white dress with a black trim and gold sequins and the groom is wearing black and white with gold sequin accents,” said Jennifer Dutton of the wedding planner Dutton & Associates in Toronto.
“The bride’s dress is a lovely, warm white dress and the wedding dress will have the black sequins added in the front.”
The dress is made from 100 per cent polyester with a satin trim and black satin lining.
It’s designed to look elegant and modern with a lace overlay and a black lace overlay on the bodice.
The dress will cost about $1,500 and will include a bouquet.
The groom is expected to be accompanied by a professional photographer and a reception planner.
“We are very pleased to offer a wedding gown that will be fitted to the wedding of a lesbian couple,” Dutton said.
“We have worked closely with the designer and his team and they have done an excellent job creating this unique wedding dress.”
