A federal judge has dismissed a bid to block a suit by an activist group to force the women in the lawsuit to disclose their salaries.
The U.S. District Court in San Francisco last week rejected a motion to dismiss the lawsuit from the National Women’s Law Center.
The lawsuit was filed in July by the Center for Constitutional Rights and other civil rights groups.
It alleges that the lawsuits have violated the federal Equal Protection Clause of the Constitution.
The judge did not offer an immediate ruling.
