By now, you’ve probably heard that many of the major female fashion brands are backing off from their endorsements of Donald Trump.
But there are also some other prominent brands that are still doing business with the Republican presidential candidate, including Gap, Abercrombie & Fitch, Forever 21, Neiman Marcus, and Nordstrom.
The New York Times reported on Friday that these companies have stopped offering his campaign merchandise.
And while Trump has not endorsed a fashion line, his campaign has released a video that appears to show a Gap employee handing out his merchandise.
The campaign has also reportedly begun selling hats made by a company that is part of the Trump brand.
In response to Trump’s criticism of the fashion industry, Gap CEO Paul S. Allen tweeted, “We do not endorse any candidate, and we have always said that we will not make any endorsements of any candidate.
However, as a fashion brand, we cannot and will not support an individual candidate.”
In a statement, Abercolone said that it will no longer provide merchandise to the campaign because of the president’s comments.
In a similar vein, Forever 20 said that “our commitment to supporting the campaign of our President is strong.”
